If you mean low testosterone levels in your own bloodstream, then no, it has no effect on how masculine or feminine one acts.

It is theorized that variant androgen levels in the womb during gestation is what the cause of male homosexuality and MTF transsexuality, thought his has not been proven conclusively. One theory posits that male homosexuality is the result of hypermasculinization in the womb, not feminization.

There is a condition, androgen insensitivity syndrome, in which an XY person cannot produce an enzyme to properly process androgens, and thus develops as intersex or as female, but this is rare.

Once you're outside the womb, hormone levels do continue to have a profound effect on behaviors, but they don't make you gay.

Low testosterone levels may manifest as lowered levels of aggression, libido, and even mild depressive episodes. They may manifest physically, over a very long period of time, as a slight demasculinization, such as a reduction in body and forearm hair, or the development of some female secondary sexual characteristics such as gynecomastia, though this is a rare side effect.

Well, I'll answer this question even though I'm not Japanese I am from Asia so it might help. Lots of guys these days have their ear pierced, I don't think it makes them gay nor feminine. Actually, I reckon it gives them a bad boy look. For the most part I'm open-minded, stuff like meggings or skinny jeans don't even bother me. Asian fashion for guys seem to be feminine these days anyway. However, the line crosses for me when he start wearing skirts. I wouldn't think that he's gay, I would just think that he is too overly feminine and not be attracted to him. Also, if his actions are too girly I would be bothered too. I mean, stuff like covering his mouth when he laughs is alright, but sometimes when he does it constantly it gets to be irritating. I personally prefer it when the guy makes the first move. It isn't because I think guys should always take charge or anything like that. I'm simply too shy and afraid of rejection / embarrassing myself. I care a lot about how others view me. A lot of girls I know think that way as well. But there are girls who like making the first move.

This is a very fascinating question! There are lots of videos on homosexuality studies on the 60 minutes website. One has to do with altering hormone levels in rats at birth. Male rats who were deprived of testosterone at birth grew up to act more feminine!

You may have some gender nonconformity. Often this is mistaken for being gay. Not all people that have a gender nonconformity will become gay, and not all people that become gay will have a gender nonconformity. Gender nonconformity may be caused by hormonal imbalance, or it may be learned characteristics. Often though children with gender nonconformity are often mistaken for homosexuals that they are more influenced to experience a homosexual influence of some kind, and that can be as name calling even.

Sexuality is a choice made from influences. Some people may be well into their teens before they even begin to accept influences in making the choice. If you are not attracted to either gender, it is not so normal, you just have not been influenced in a way that has influenced you to making the choice.

Not entirely true! Hormone fluctuations while in the uterus can cause homosexuality or a man to be more feminine.

No, it won't affect how you act. The only thing you'll notice is if you have higher estrogen than normal, you'll have different curves than regular men, maybe less facial hair, and maybe a higher voice.

If you're worried, check with your doctor.
