I love weird movies, movies with a good story and not just...being weirded. Being John Malkovich is one of my favorites. Baxter is just...too weird for me. I need some good ones, especially now am sitting here heartbroken ! Just watched Pan's Labyrinth, another great movie. Thanks Y'all !

I agree with Hard Candy. You have to stand through the beginning...and then, you will be surprised. Its an "unusual" way of confronting pedophilia. Must see

A scanner Darkly, is one of those movies you only really get by the end of the movie. Pretty good. Related to drugs

The Fountain. Quite a pessimistic movie, but surreal. Not to watch if you are heartbroken though...deals with love and not wanting to let go.

The Piano Teacher (French, as someone said above...quite a few french movies have a "weird" feel to them. And I'm French!). overprotective parent with adult child.

Dune. Futuristic movie. Quite hold though...stars Sting!

Donnie Darko is a great one. Jake Gyllenhal, Patrick Swazye, and Drew Barrymore, with some of the best acting I've ever seen.
