Well, I live in a small town with a population of 4,000. I wouldn't say it's in the country...but it is obviously not a city. I like it alright. I

think I would rather live in a town close with a population around 10,000-15,000 (I previously lived in a town that size) & I loved it even more.

I lived in Omaha, Nebraska all my life, except for the past 5 years, so I have gone from a very big city to a town of 10,000. I don't miss the crime, robberies, car jackings, and all that kind of stuff. People are very friendly here in the small town, women even leave there purses on the front seat of there cars, something I still can't do. The only thing I miss is the variety of shopping, you have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get to the big city. But I do prefer the small town.

I am born n raised Country n proud of it. I live in a very small town with less than 900 people. Closest city is 25 miles away. I love the peace n solitude. Been to the big cities but wouldn't live there on a bet. We have a grocery store, gas station, Subway, East of Chicago pizza n 2 traffic lights. For me to get to our little village is about a 10 min. drive. People are a lot different in the rural areas. No offense. :)

I live in a city but I was raised in small towns. I never liked living in the city but I have learned to accept it.

City boy here. I'll live in cities both large and small, but generally, there's nothing about the country that attracts me, other than taking little day trips out there. It's scenic, but in the boondocks, you don't generally find museums, the symphony, art galleries, fine libraries, colleges, decent-paying jobs, or much of anything else.
