These little blankets are great, babies love them. I was at a second hand baby store today and they were selling them for $15.00. The store usually pays you about half of that. Or try selling them on Ebay. Who knows, you could make some $$$$$. Let me know if you decided to do this. I may buy one!!!! (pink, its a girl!!!!!)

It sounds like an old-fashioned quilt is in order. You can pick up a book on quilting at any craft store. Start with a 9-patch quilt (by using triangular pieces mixed with squares, you can come up with some great designs). You can use the quilt either on your bed, as an afghan, or even a wall hanging, and it will always bring back memories of the things you had the original cloth for.

This lady I clean house for makes teddy bears w/ old fabric...like a piece of clothing of someone who has passed. That way their piece of clothing is made into something special. Very Cute! Especially when using buttons as the eyes, earring, down the belly. Great sentimental keepsake!
