I need help with rebuilding carburetor, Float adjustment and pilot screw adjustment please help. Warren

hay Warren, as a general rule of thumb set the floats so the float arm is parallel to the the carb body (float bowl &carb base) so that the float is just starting to depress the needle spring post. you may want to pre set the air fuel screws at 1&3/4 turns from cloased. also be sure that the carbs are in sync, so your bike has smooth pull under a load. anyway good luck and happy biking;)

A shop manual will show you how to rebuild the carb. If you know how to use screw drivers, wrenches and follow directions, it's a piece of cake.
The #1 problem is getting the carbs off the bike. The intake manifolds have to be removed. Look at the manifold bolts and determine whether you want to get involved or not. If you don't have patience and tend to throw tools around your garage when you get frustrated, get someone else to do the job.
