I just finished reading her book My Story. Terrible place she in. If she is guilty(which after the book i kinda feel she is,but not %100) why would she take drugs into a country she knew if she was to get caught she might receive Death. So i wondered what everyone thought? I live in the US and there is nothing about her over here. I just found her book by mistake on Ebay. It was so sad and scarry

Initially I thought that she was innocent as Marijuana is grown in Indonesia in abundance and its cultivation and distribution is controlled by the military. While I was a journalist in Indonesia I was shown photographs of marijuana being loaded into military helicopters with several senior Indonesian
generals standing nearby smiling, and it was not a "drug bust". The photographs were shown to me by a Drug Enforcement Officer within an embassy, but I was told that they would not do anything to "harm diplomatic relations".

Later I changed my mind about Schapelle, primarily because of the statements that marijuana grown in Australia is stronger than that grown in Indonesia plus a number of other factors that show that the whole Corby family are heavily involved in the drug trade.

There is no doubt at all: there is no doubt that she is INNOCENT. Bitter twisted people will tell you otherwise, as will air heads who have had their opinion fed to them by the Aussie media, but the thinking world knows the truth. Schapelle Corby is a victim of politics and corruption. She is slowly being murdered by the states of Indonesia and Australia. The truth will emerge. In fact it is already beginning to. This PDF below starts it rolling, but the corruption in Australia is what will eventually shock people. The Australian government watched Schapelle's human rights being trampled upon. Why? To maintain their relationship with Indonesia. But more, corruption in the AFP and at the airports was, and is, rife. Seek out Gary Lee Rogers. Seek out Ray Cooper. Seek out Allan Kessing. These are just a handful of those who tried to whistle blow all this and paid for it. The AFP's involvement in drug syndication was systemic, and Howard's government knew it. They also knew that the domestic political crisis of a loss of confidence in the poilice if the public found out would be a disaster. So they sold Schapelle to make sure the public didn't ask questions and potentially find out. Schapelle Corby never had a chance. She didn't have a trial, and her own government conspired to make sure no-one looked anywhere else: not at Indonesia, and not at the Australian police. She was sold for political benefit, and the media were engaged to cover the tracks: it is so easy when two organizations control virtually all of the Australian printed press. For the broadcasters, see JournOz.Com Your points are spot on Karen. But the reasons for them are every bit as sickening.

I have not read her book..didn't know there was one..but I read about her after reading about the Bali 9.....what I have read ..is she didn't know the drugs was in her bag and a guy in Australia over heard someone who admitted to putting the drugs in her bag..without her knowledge......whether she did it knowingly or unknowingly....I found her sentence extremely harsh..unfairly harsh...I really feel sorry for her..she will be an old women when released.....if you want to read more ...the web has many sites about her http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?srch=104&FORM=AS4&q=Schapelle+Corby

and as for the Bali 9.....they did the crime..but if you read about them...you will see very young people..and possible one who is literally retarded sentence to death and life....sad stories also.....

Bali..may well be a wonderful place to go...but if someone messed with your bags after they left your hands....and you ended up caught with some form of drugs .....you life would be pretty much over.....after reading these two stories...I decided Bali is not a place I would ever want to see....even if everything went fine..like it does for many others...I think the sentencing in both these incidents is just to harsh for the crime.....

When most people visit other countries they are aware of the laws and the penalties. If you get caught , it's no point in discussing if the penalties are fair it' s THEIR country THEIR laws THEIR punishment.
