There are not so many Latino people where I live (Sydney, Australia), however there are some small communities such as Cubans, Peruvians and other people from South American countries. From the couple of people I have had the good luck to meet, they seem like great people with interesting cultures rich in history and they make a wonderful addition to our Australian population!

I don't really think of Latinos as people that different from anyone else but I do like Enrique Iglesias though, lol!

Jennifer Lopez & Christina Aguilera are great too by the way!

Cool links by the way, especially the first one with that chick called Belinda! I never would have guessed that she was only 17!

I didn't think much of La Ley though.

Never heard of either of those two performance artists before tonight so thanks again for your insight, so to speak...

As far as skin complexion, eye color, music & styles of dress are concerned, each to their own, I'd say!

Live & let live!

I don't really have an opinion on that, to be perfectly honest with you buddy.

I'm jealous of the darker skin- I burn at the drop of a hat!!

I think that Latino women are so beautiful- exotic (but then I'm blah/Caucasian) My husband and I have talked about this- why we both thought Latino women were so pretty. (No, we're not kinky, just observant) We decided it's the higher contrast- the skin vs the eyes themselves... Like I said, I just look all washed out...

Because I've never had the opportunity to visit/live in another country, I don't really have an opinion on home countries...

The Latino music I have heard makes me want to move... it just sounds so sexy and (what's the word? I'll think of it..)

Style of dress... I think that people with darker complexions can get away with more vivid colors than I can...

Latinos come in all colors and are from many different countries. You have Latinos who are White and you have the Mestizo's and you have the Black Latinos. Music and dress usually differs form each country.

I love the culture and as long as they are legal i welcome them to the united states. I do think they drive the wages down which is unfortunate for the American workforce. Ive been to Mexico and not just the border towns but deep south. I took a bus from pheonix to Mazalan. I love Mexico its a great place and i love the culture. Especially the food. amazing. And i love the music as well its so festive and uplifting.

The ones I have met have been hard working honest people that just want a piece of the American dream. I think of them as people with a rich and vibrant culture.

I think they are people with thoughts and feelings just like everyone else. I respect people in general no matter their color and I always try to respect their culture. I just wish people would return the favor sometimes.

I think I know quite a bit. My husband is Latino. I've learned to speak spanish because i wanted to be able to talk to my husbands family. I really enjoy the culture even though I'm black. My husband enjoys my culture too.
