I used to wear a horrible green uniform for school and even to this day, I hate the color green!!

No. The parents here were given an opportunity to vote on uniforms and they decided to have a very strict dress code instead. I live in a low income county and uniforms would be a major expense for about half the population. These dress codes only apply to middle and high school students.

I think all schools except college should have to. this will cut down on the teasing and what not of who wears what and who doesnt.
School is about education, not a fashion show and studies have shown that schools that have uniforms, the kids perform better than those who dont

I did until Grade 12.
You know that in Thailand, University students HAVE to wear uniforms?! It is kind of cool. White shirts and black pants. It makes all the students equal.

I did when I was in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade...it sucked...but some of the guys looked really good in school uniforms...ah...to be young again...
