i have sold hundreds of games on ebay, always with the UPC (by the way, the upc IS the barcode).

if someone told you that Nintendo removed the listings, they lied to you - because nintendo does NOT run ebay

as well, after you buy a game, as long as you do not edit the game at all, nintendo doesn't care if you sell it; you are only possibly increasing their fan base

nintendo didn't take the listings off, there was another reason your listings were taken off

Unless e-bay's terms of use policy specifically states that is a requirement to use their service to sell games then there is no legal reason why you need to show the UPC number to sell anything including video games and there is nothing the company or anyone else can do about it unless it is something on e-bay's terms. If you buy a bunch of games and sell them out of the back of your truck, it is still legal even though you aren't a "certified" dealer by the company. The same holds true here. You should raise a complaint with ebay and see what happens.

I have no idea why there would be a problem. I've sold several of my used games on ebay. Did you try writing the Ebay support? I'm sure they'll have some answers for you because I'm almost positive it's legal. I don't know why it wouldn't be.
