I'm moving to Colorado, and driving. Will living in the high altitude kill the turtle.

Absolutely. The last time I tried to bring my red eared slider turtle on the plane, its shell cracked and he dried out. We had some delicious soup afterword though. Next time I'll be sure to use UPS ground.

no it wont die i had a red ear slider flown from fl by ups and he lived it was a baby if a baby can survive 35,000 feet up in the air in a plane im sure it will do fine in a car
