automatic knitting machines?

Could someone give me a name of a machine that I could use to do complicated stitches like seed stitch and yarn over and knit together. Can you convert your own patterns or do you special instructions. I would like to make baby afghans and baby sweater sets.

I think you are going to pay a lot, as the things you ask for are difficult to impossible on the knitting machines I have seen.

Your best bet would be talking with the people at a good shop with knitting machines, reading up on the different machines they think are good for you, and after that, come back and ask if someone has experience with the machine you have chosen to buy.
