I hope your mom left a will and a personal representative (aka executor). Ask this personal representative about receiving your mom's social security if you're eligible. If you're not eligible and continue to cash checks, the Government will arrest you and place you in prison for 15-20 years and order you to repay restitution to the Government. I hope you make the right and mature decision.

You don't. You collect yours, which is based on hers, but you don't get hers. And I believe there is some cut-off on that as well. Probably when you finish college!
Go to the Social Security office with a certificate of death and proof of relationship!

You don't. However, if you are a dependent child, you need to contact the Social Security Administration to have benefits continued for you, if you qualify.
