"You Raise Me Up" by Josh groban. It keeps me in check, knowing that God is always with me.
"From the Inside Out" - Hillsong United. Unlike some other people, it doesnt embarrass me to say that i like this song, even if its by a christian band. When it comes down to it, music is music and should be accepted regardless of the religion it preaches. This video of the song pretty much speaks for itself:

"Nobody's Home"- Avril Lavigne. Sweet song about finding a home amidst struggle.
"Chop Suey" -System of a down. Kind of a rough song all the way through but the thing about this one which really catches my attention is the bridge, ("Father, why have you forsaken me? In your eyes forsaken me? In your thoughts forsaken me? In your heart forsaken me?"). It really demonstrates a soft-side that we would rarely see in a metal band, but just sincere enough without losing its edge.
i know i have more, but these are just a few songs that have influenced me for the better, and will stick with me forever...

"My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion made me cry for a long time because it came out right around the time my first boyfriend died.
But now 10 yrs later I've found happiness again and I cry happy tears when I hear "She's Everything" by Brad Paisley.

Emerson Drive, moments
I've had my moments, days in the sun, moments, I was second to none, moments, when I knew I what I had to do,
like the day I , walked away from the wine, for a women, who became my wife, memories,,,,,, etc...
He sings about a man who goes to a bridge to jump off it
but a homeless man on the bridge, convinces him to go back to his family. I have been alittle depressed myself lately, to say the least.

When I get to where I'm going by Brad Paisley and Dolly Pardon. It was played at a funeral of a teen age girl last year. It's sad to lose a young life.

I need you to survive - Hezekiah Walker.
While the song is very much from a Christian artist, the song could be used at any group of people that believe God exists.

It's a really old one, but Ballerina Girl by Lionel Ritchie makes me cry. It reminds me of my late Grandfather who passed away when I was 5 years old and was so proud of me at my first dance recital. He also really liked Lionel Ritchie songs a lot.
