I saw an interview with Bono saying that he had some advice for whoever becomes the next president of the U.S. And i say to myself who the hell are you? what qualifies you to give advice in world affairs, just because you donate some money? Same goes for all celebreties most are high school droputs who are only rich cause they look good or can act.

Excactly, i dont care what they say if it doesnt involve ther industry and the fact that some people hang on to their every word is just sad and shows how dumb some people are. And its great that they bring awarness to aids in africa or cancer awarness. But dont tell me about an issue you hardly know anything about but just because you have alot of money and free time and feel you need to fell better about yourself you need to "educate" me on an issue.

Good to see that you have confidence in yourself.Lot of celebrities are thought to be wise too.Sometimes they are and other times they are not.The real power is the common man who is the real survivor and knows how things work without abundance of love and money.
And by the way what about the masses of people who think that celebs are the hierarchy?

I think that celebrities are egotistical and sometimes forget they are every day citizens when it comes to things outside of their industry. Although some celebrities have done a lot of wonderful humanitarian acts, it's no different than the other wonderful individuals that have volunteered their time, blood, sweat, and tears. I think that those who are educated will not find a grain of salt in the value of an opinion of someone who is a celebrity--much less one that's not from this country.

Because they've become so used to having so much fuss and attention paid to them all the time that they've grown to believe their own publicity machines. They really do believe that they are "larger than life" and have a truer and more complete understanding of life than we ordinary mortals.

because they are rich and famous and also pretty good looking, they think they know it all. like the question said, most of them are high school dropouts, only getting famous on their looks and talents when there is really nothing upstairs...........if you know what i mean.
