shaving sucks, most razors are junk and certain shaving creams either make your nose run, smell like a whore, or just don't help.

I have to go with schick Twin razors (10pk at Walmart for $5) and Colgate Aloe shaving cream. Gels stink to much. Barbesol is just soap. Walmart brand is ok.

Shaving after a shower is the trick. when the hair is soft.

I soak in the shower for a few minutes.. then I use the steam room at the gym for 5 - 10 minutes.. tehn I take a hot shower while my face is still hot and shave right there and then in the shower, just with soap and a really sharp triple blade razer.... I shave every two days this method and use a new blade every three shaves... after 30+ years of shaving I have never been better since starting this routine 6 months ago.

I've always hated shaving! Until recently, every time I shaved I looked like a big loser in a bar fight.
Then my wife found a new kind of shaving cream and got me one of those fancy razors with 5 blades. The combination works wonderfully! No more razor burn, bumps and irritation.

The secret for all you "baby-faced" guys (like me)
Edge Advanced Shave Gel. It has no scent or nasty chemicals to irritate our skin. It is also free of dyes, it's kind of a clear/white gel.

Works great! If you have a baby face, you gotta try it!

No irritations. Before I shave I make sure my face is wet and moist enough to soften my skin (usually taking a bath). Use luke warm water as it opens your skin pores and loosen your facial hairs. I then apply a shaving cream and use a shave with lubricants (change your shave razor often). I shave slowly and not against the hair growth. I then wash my face with an alcohol free, anti-bacterial facial wash. After rinsing, I apply an oil free facial moisturizer. No need for after shave anymore.

Use a brand made for women. My young husband had a heart attack and then a stroke after taking a bad medicine, and is on Plavix and aspirin. We discovered that if he uses Venus Divine and women's shave cream, he never gets nicks. It really works!

Gels are superior. If u are extra sensitive, use one with added aloe.

The super high-tech Braun electric with the automatic daily cleanser is also great for sensitivie skin. Electric is never as close as a blade, but as far as electrics go, this one is as good as it gets.
