I would have to say Star Wars. Well Star Wars have light sabers and Star Trek have guns that shoot lasers. Star Wars is the better series. No question about it.

I like Star Wars but come on There are only 6 movies. Star Trek has got several movies but has been on the TV screen for over 40 years. Captain Kurt and Captain Picarde then Captain Janeway, and then there was Deep space nine. To me Star Trek winds hands down. I loved watching Star Wars. Just more material to view with Star Trek.

While star wars is great, star trek is better. Much more development of the series and characters that star wars could not do in six movies.

Tough choice. Even though they are similar they are very different. I like star wars. But... Star trek is constantly coming out with new stuff. Star wars is bigger in marketing, star trek has some decent stuff. In they end it all depends if you like star trek 'cause it has more movies and shows or, if you love the star wars trilogy and how the story line was setup. My Fav is Star Wars.

Even though Star Wars made more money, I have to go with Star Trek. They have more followers and the show became an icon for all others to duplicate. This, however, has yet to be done, although many have tried.
