Do you give to charities?

Yes....but I prefer to do volunteer hands on things for them

I'll give them my time if it's something I care about...but in most cases no.

I work hard for my money. I'm not giving it away. Plus in most cases charity money doesn't get used as they say it is...and I won't stand for that!

I do give more than half my closet every year to second hand stores! I think that is very nice!

I used to do that until I found out that only 10% of what you donate goes the poor. The greedy people use the 90% on themselves mostly.

So I've just started giving change directly to the homeless and save myself from the middle man.

Yes, I used to pick one charity a year but then realized that I was the biggest charity case out there....

I permanently picked our local humane society.....shhhhh don't tell them.......I send it anonymously.

When we can, we usually do.

I give alot of stuff (more so than money) to a battered womans shelter and a homeless shelter in our neighbourhood.

I didn't even know they were so close, so I figured the best thing to do was to help out those that are closest too us.

I give to the locale volinteer fire and rescue squad. Also I buy cookies from the girl scouts.. I know you might say I get something from them, but I buy way more cookies than I want or need cause Its the girl scouts

yes I do...I write a check to the Salvation Army every year at Christmas when they have the bell ringers outside with the red hanging collection buckets. I also donate to Children's Miracle Network.
