i now own a home in Wisconsin with land, you get a lot more for your money here. my home would probably be 4 mil in Cali!

The country, it holds a solitude that I can't find in the city - and the quieter the better, when I am writing.

i grew up in the city and have lived in the country. now i am back in a city and i'm just not sure. I miss driving on the country roads because there aren't as many idiot drivers but i hated driving like thirty miles one way to get to a store

HB= Huntington Beach or Humboldt? I am in SLO, Cali and I love it...it's not quite "the city", it's a small town.

Ive been a nomad most of my life lol. I was born in Suburbia, but moved country at the age of 5. When i was 17 i got itchy feet and moved back to the city by myself and havent left since. But i get the most of both worlds. My Father still lives in the country so when i go down to visit i enjoy it. I just wont live there lol.

I grew up at HB, Newport, Laguna, San Clemente, moved north many moons ago into the forests of the Sierra Nevada near Tahoe. County, Baby, all the way. No stress just good people, good times, and good skiing!!!

I have lived in St. Louis County all my life but have always wanted to live in the country. Problem is it is hard to find good paying jobs in the country or you have to commute 60 to 90 minutes into the city to find good work. So to answer your question.....I would rather live in the Country but don't. Want to retire there someday.

then moved to a rural area in Wisconsin

I prefer the city but don't mind going to the country side for relaxtion occasionally.
