Yeah. But I'm a teenager, and that probably explains most of it.

Dude, yes, sometimes, it feels that all is for naught.
Sometimes, life is so hard, it feels like someone ripped out your heart through your ribs and stomped it on the ground.
Or that the pressure is so much, from work, studies, obligations, family, etc, that you they couldn't hear you if you scream for relief.
BUT, I tell you man, that it does get better. I know thats a cheesy "Time heals all wounds" cop out. I'm not sure if your a religous man, but prayer helped me when my Mother-in-law died, I lost my job on a Friday, and then 9-11 happened on that Monday.
If not, make yourself a reason to go on, just make it one day at a time until you get out of this turmmoil. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. " (Mathew 6:34)
Back in college, I had some very dark days. I had to find a reason to live. I know some ppl get a pet, a girlfriend, etc. Mine at the time was made when I was watching in the theatre Back to the Future 2, I was going to live long enough to see Back to the Future 3. Yea, it's sounds stupid as all get-out now, but at the time it's all I had...
Please remember the good times too, it may help.
because sometimes life is so grand and wonderful, that you are unstoppable.
I think in Parenthood with Steve Martin said it best, when his mother character was talking about that some people only ride merry-go rounds, that only go around and around, but others ride rollercoasters, that go up-up-up and then zooming down..
She ended by saying she thought the roller coasters were much more exciting...
Peace-

Life does hit me hard from time to time but it does not shaken my purpose in life. When I was a younger teenager, I realize I have potential and something to share with the world. That very thing is what keeps me going: a goal; it is something that makes my living meaningful. There will be times when I lose track of the meaning of my exhistence hence I would start seeking oblivion; the world would crumb all around me as if the universe forsakens me. Yet I would eventually recover and see better days.
For those who feel that their lives are meaningless, do not give your life up so easily. There is bound to be something that will make your exhistance meaningful. Look around and look within. Then, I hope you see light.

I don't live "for" anything. I live. Period. Everyone's life takes "hits" from time to time, but if you threw all the ups & downs in a bag & shook them up, you'd find a balance. A "hit" isn't necessarily a negative. If you very open-mindedly tracked back what you thought were hits, you'd discover that there are many positive consequences you'd never have experienced without the "hit." The key to your feelings is all in your perception, & that's only your choice to make.

Not anymore. Because I realize that I AM living for nothing. No life has any "purpose" of any kind. As for why any life takes the hits that it does, there is no why, it just does. Nobody is "looking out " for you.

Don't personalize the actions of others.
Anyone who takes a "hit" at you isn't worth your time. You have no control over how others behave, but you often have the ability to choose who you surround yourself with.

That sounds so sad.
I actually will create goals and focus my energy away from ME when I start to have "self doubts". Their is always someone that has a more difficult life than your own, and helping them will improve yours immensely.

You gotta have something to look forward to. If you don't plan and do something so that you have something to look forward to.
