Please help me to understand why, there are a certain group of people who are trying to take away anything which may have to do with the heritage of American Citizens and this country. Christopher Columbus has been used as an example to show how this country was founded discovered and then settled by very immoral people. Well since he was italian, which makes his a latino, I believe that the wrong groupd of people a blamed. Could this be true?

Bruce, I don't believe being Italian makes one Latino. A Latino is an American originating south of the Rio Grand.

It is a fact that Historical heroes are over glamorized. If you think about it, what sort would it take to make such a perilous journey. I'm sorry but choir boys wouldn't survive it.
