If George W. Bush was more like Reagan, would he be dumber or smarter?

Good grief, dude. Is this for real. There is NO doubt that Bush wants to be like Reagan; but, he missed half the boat. He is very compassionate, but lacks the ability to STOP being nice. Reagan was a leader and that is a FACT.

Smarter. Even though Reagan was out of the loop when it came to policy matters (probably out of disinterest), he had a decent education and was smart enough to head the actor's guild in his earlier days. Bush was a failure at business, a war desserter, and a lame do-nothing politician until Karl (the snake) Rove came around to boost his image and career.

I do hope however, that this unbelievably inept performance of Bush, Cheney, and the Repubs will forever ban them to permanent second place.
The 'rich' will always be rich, but the Dems will make it somewhat easier for the rest of us. A Republican wouldn't know how !!

Neither. But he would at least know the difference.
Reagan at least knew to pray we would not face the "end" the next day. I am not certain about anyone currently serving.

hey reagan was the man who said he could stop the engine of american industry and did.
in 1980 the usa EXPORTED more finished goods than any other nation in the world.
then came reagan.
