I'm not positive what you're asking. The sin of -5pi/4 is equal to -sin 5pi/4 which is equal to 0.7071067812. The coordinate is the square root of 2 over two.

- 5π/4 is in 2nd quadrant and is therefore the sin is positive thus:-

= 1 / √2
= (1/2).√2

sin(-5pi/4)
sin(-pi - (pi/4))
sin(-pi)cos(pi/4) - sin(pi/4)cos(-pi)
0(sqrt(2)/2) - (sqrt(2)/2)(-1)
sqrt(2)/2

sin(-5pi/4) = sqrt(2)/2
