if 5 people like to watch tv and 3 people like to go on the computer then how many people go on the computer if 950 people like to watch tv

It is! ie a rotio question.

As a ratio question, you would realise that there are two groups, for every five in one group, there is three in the other group.

In the first group the 950 represents 5 times 190

Thus the group on the computer is 3 x 190 = 570
