Umm no. If I ever get that paranoid about my relationship then I will either have a long conversation with him or end it. Can't be chasing someone around hoping to find out something. That's just not me.

I've never had a man set up. But I would if I knew for sure that he was cheating or lying, and want to catch him in the act, so he couldn't deny it.

If he was cheating, I would find a girl that I know he couldn't resist. His dream girl. I would pay her to hit on him and see if he takes the bait. She would report back to me whether he made his move to kiss her or get her phone number etc. or not.

Of course, after reporting to me, she would just have to show up, as proof that she was my temporary "employee", flash the money I gave her, and walk away, so she's not in the middle of an argument. Then he wouldn't be able to spew out a lame excuse.

However, I'd have to be sure he had cheated previously in the first place in order to go through the hassle and spend that much money.

Set up? Nope.....but I doubted a man so much, I kept asking the right questions, his answers and actions didn't align with the questions.....so I hired a private investigation.

Busted! Got the video tape too! ;0

No, if I doubted a man that much...then I would equally doubt my capability to select a good man!

Ive kind of tried to trap him in his conversations... like where he was... if he tells me two different stories and all that but I think I only did that once and it was in the beginning of our relationship when I really did doubt him

No. If I doubted someone that much, we'd just part ways...it would be too difficult to regain (his) trust afterward if I was proven wrong and I wouldn't blame him for being upset about it.

...and if I was right, we'd be splittin' up anyway so why not skip the 'setup' step?

Yes... what is it that you are doubting him about?? Cheating? If so you get a friend that he had never met before and have her "meet him somewhere and ask him questions.... like are you in a relationship? where do you work? do you have any kids? and see what happens! worked for my friend when we did it!! Good luck

No. If I have doubts I leave because without trust there is no relationship.
