What do you find is the best page set up when writing something .?

I am going to write things on Microsoft Word and then put them on my website and blog.I just want to get an idea of what looks best in your opinion on the web.Layout,print size,page size,font those sort of things.

Use a two-column or three-column layout - links in a "narrow" column and main text in the broadest column, which should be in the centre of the page horizontally.

Sans Serif fonts like Arial or Helvetica look best on the screen. Font size should be between 10-12 points.
