Put ice on it for 10 minutes, the put heat (like a heating pad or a microwaved towel) on it for 10 minutes. Keep alternating the ice and heat for at least a couple of hours. And bend it as much as you can without it hurting. If you can't bend it, then it might be fractured. If your mom really won't help, talk to your school nurse tomorrow morning and have her call your Mom.
Hope it's all better tomorrow!

I would try and tolerate placing ice on the finger for 10 minutes and then off for 10 minutes. If the swelling does go down you might just hace a real bad stub. I usually take some tape and gently tape the hurt finger, this will help keep it straight. If the swelling doesnt decrease or pain continues for more than 12 hrs I would call the doctor in the morning.

Ut oh......... Put it on some ice, and dont try to move it too much, cause that just makes it hurt real bad!!! Maybe you should tell your mom the it hurts really bad, and that you may have sprained or broken it. I did this once, i stubbed it on the heel of my foot (dont ask) and i ended up spraining it........ so do the following
1) Put some ice in a zip lock bag, then wrap in a wash cloth, and place it on ur finger.....
2)Wrap ur finger in some tape, lightly, but firm so it keeps it stright, but doesnt cut off curculation, or hurt like u know what!
3)Take some Medication..... maybe some tylenol pm(helps reduce pain, and makes you drowsy so ull get to sleep easier)
4) Go to ur mommy and say, "Ouch! Mom my finger hurts...... If it doesnt feel better by tomorrow, can we maybe go and see if i did somethin to it?" And give her puppy dog eyes.....
Good Luck, try and sleep tonight, and see ow it feels tomorrow, also look for any brusing...... if its bruised really bad, you may have possibly broken or sprained it! Hope it feels better and Get Well Soon! =] Oh and eat lots of sweet stuff...... it ALWAYS makes me feel better! lol

Apply ice to reduce swelling, take some ibuprofen to reduce inflammation (granted you're not allergic), and try to rest your finger---don't bend it. If you still cannot bend it tomorrow/the swelling increases, definitely go straight to urgent care for an x-ray; your finger may be broken if your mobility is limited. Hope you feel better! :(

Dip it in ice water for temporary pain relief. Go see your school nurse and ask if it might be a sprain or fracture. Don't delay, because if it does turn out to be a fracture, it should be treated as soon as possible, to avoid long term complications.

your finger is most likely fractured or broke if it hurts when you bend it. my advice is to get your school nurse to look at it tommaro.
For the time being, put ice on it and try to keep it still.

Just put ice on it. It is probably jammed. If the pain / swelling stays around, it could be broken then you should insist your mom to look at it and maybe go to the hospital to get x- rays.

it is no longer a bruise, it is blood. Get a small drill bit, or a screw, something you're able to make a small hollow with, and make a hollow above the pink spot, then push on your nail, pending on how long it is been, dry blood will pop out, which relieves the throbbing.

Wrap it up lightly with a bandage. If its broken or fractured it will get worse.
If you cannot move it at all then go tell your mom and go to the hosp. If you can move it and it just hurts then wait and see how it is tomorrow.
