..well not weird; you just find fondness in things most people wouldn't. in SPECIFIC things. and i mean you crossed the line between healthy obsession and absolutely lovelovelove to death 'OMG i'm addicted, i cannot rid this from my mind.'

i loove south park, really. everything: the show, the fandom, all of it. and tweek from south park (really huge fangirl here). and i also ADORE blondes, france, frenchness, french people, anything to do with that. + really skinny boys with jutting hip bones and some feminism.. i can just talk about all of those forever!

~~~ susietweak, I love South Park so freakin much that I want to give up this "Normal" life I am living and get transported into TV Land and be a part of south Park World. I have a crush on Randy,although I suspect he may be gay. Beings everything is so nicely whacked in that glorious world I would become Towelie,and screw around with everybody and their parents. I would kick The Grim Reapers BUTT!! for messing with my Hon Kenny. I know he likes to die alot cuz his parents are hicks and all that,so I'd go to Hell with him and play house with Satan.....once in awhile. anyways..my life is falling apart all because my TV is on strike and refuses to put .....so I am going through South Park withdrawls. That's (F word) !! BUTT!! next week I'll be back in bussiness cuz the Cable Guy is cuming!! I can't wait. That is my weird obsession. And I'm not ashamed to admit it. South park. I absolutely love Kenny, cause of the mysterion thing. I actually use south park in school. I don't read newspaper, so i use the episode and the year it came out to know when an event happened. For example, "two days before the day after tomorrow" is in the 9th season, which came out in 2006, so that was the year of hurricane katrina. It's weird, but whatevs.

I think you answered your own question. Anything that is loved becomes an addiction. That which we love is that which we do not want to be without. A problem of separation. As love is generally a positive feeling, anything that provides pleasure leads to an addiction.

The Eastern philosophies would regard this as attachment.

Of course, your obsession becomes dangerous when anyone tries to come between you and your addiction.

I am addicted to my Computer. I surf the web all day long watching stuff on youtube, answering South Park Questions, fixing up my Myspace.

I have forgotten to eat all day sometimes then I eat really Late at Night.

I like to hack on the french when I get the chance.I mean you can't take a culture seriously whose main battle tactic is to surrender enmasse.there by placing serious strain on the enemy economy,weakening it and viciously with holding cheerful bon jours,until the rest of the world arrives to save them.So I am guessing I could go on for ever but hey obsessions get like that
