x^2+4 divided by 3. I have to use long division and I am getting so confused.

the answer will simply be
x^2/3 + 4/3

You should get x^2/3 +4/3
(x^2+4)/3 = x^2/3 +4/3

Check: (x^2/3+4/3)*3= x^2 + 4
