i really thought she was the best vocally but i really don't think that her voice was modern enough to be the american idol.
i hope she has a record label cause she deserves it. maybe like an r&b album or soul.
hey if sanjaya can have a chance to make it on I Love New York 2...just imagine what Melinda can do!

Melinda Doolittle was by far the most outstanding vocalist that has ever auditioned for AI. She will go far, we will be hearing about her for years to come. I think what blocked her chances was coming out and telling the public she was openly gay. I don't think america is ready for a gay idol no matter how good they are. Sorry if anyone is offended, JMO.

It's obvious that she's gonna be a singer. Record lables are gonna be all over her right now because first of all, she's a good singer, and also, she was on american idol, and she has a huge fan base from american idol so she knows she's gonna sell a lot of cd's.

she'll just get a record deal. she's not worried about it, so im not worried about it. she does have a geat voice someone will listen to her.

i wanted her to leave. blake and jordan were my favorites i want jordan to win, but i wont be disapointed if blake wins.
