write 145/100 and reduce...... =1 and 9/20

and six is 1/8 times 100/1
= 12 and 1/2

any percent is something over 100 ( so 20% is 20/100). In this case 145% would be 145/100. As a mixed number you divide the 145 by 100 and get 1 45/100, then you reduce that fraction to get 1 9/20 as your final answer.

23/50 houses are old, so 100%x23/50 = 46% are old

m = 39 x (8/52 ) = 78 / 13

1.2/5 = 9.6/40
2.1/8 = 10.5/40
These are not the same

you do 145/100 and simplify further. you should get 29/20 which is 1 and 9/20.
