I have heard that its OK but I wouldn't recomend it. I say no because the chlorine could harm it. But people have found turtles in their swimming pools and they live just fine there. If you don't use any chemicals AT ALL then yes as long as you have land area that he could get up on and a shade spot and heat etc. I read that turtles have strong immune systems and can tolerate low levels of chlorine. If its ok for us then it wont harm them But I sure would hate to find out the hard way. I would suggest NOT using swimming pool water. Unless its out of the hose and has turtle water conditioner in it to remove any thing harmful. Good Luck

The chlorine is really not the big issue. Turtles are remarkably resistant to many chemicals, and chlorine is one of them. (Note- this does not mean it is GOOD for it, just that it does not affect them the way it does us.)
In the short term- no biggie.
In the long term- the strong chemicals will begin to create a chemical imbalance in the turtle, the turtle's foods will be affected, and it will not thrive. It will die after a while.
(Turtles found in pools are found there because they fall in and cannot get out.)

NO!!!!!!!
most pools have chlorine in them this will kill them, even the small amount in tap water has to be removed to avoid this, so what do you think concentrated amounts will do?

DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!! Take them out of the pool!!! If you need somewhere bigger to put them get them a separate kiddie pool and put water in it, if needed.
I kept all 13 of mine in different size aquariums.
