The thought about this. Could you please too?

Did you know that in the Vietnam war, a Vietnam adult was worth $35 US dollars, and a child was worth $15 US dollars.

In Jalalabad, Afganistan, the US paid $2,000 (US currentcy) for each life.

The "answer part" can be your opinion.

Human life anywhere is precious. I don't see putting a price on anyone's head, no matter what part of the world they are from even during war. Everything else has gone up, so the price of war hasn't changed, only the dollar amount.

My answer: there should be no dollar amount placed on human life and no amount of money could compensate one for a life missed. Just another example of the materialism in our world today. Oh and the US has not placed any dollar amount on any of the lives in Africa, I guess they don't even rank an honorable mention. God Bless.

Well that is sick if it is true. You cannot put value on life - it just can't be done.

One of my friends who went to Vietnam encountered something like that in regards to his own men. When they were injured the doctors would get x amount of dollars for each limb they amputated. That is disgusting - he learnt of this and went to another hospital so they couldn't do it to him - they ended up savin his leg - no need for amputation.

What cost a human life? Its priceless if you ask me but it shows that those that lead the way have a lot to answer for and in the name of what and for who's benefit. The older I get the more synical I get.

still in this day and age, we put money value on people.

no matter which war, which century, war brings, hate, disaster,
broken homes and family's,pain, sorrow, devastation and at the end nothing.

one thing that always continue is rebuilding so, in conclusion
everything evolves around profit and making money.
