Lana's car exploded.

Lois was stabbed and died, but Chloe found her, started crying, and when her tears dropped onto Lois, Lois came back to life and Chloe dropped down on the floor.

Lionel was thrown through a wall by Bizzaro-Clark and water was rising up around him.

We wont know for sure which one is dead until September.

No one major character is confirmed dead YET! Only speculation as to someone dying...A man in Canada died at the beginning and one of Lex's guards and a scientist died. If you don't believe it then you can watch it for yourself because it will repeat on Sunday May 27 at 8 on the CW.

IF Smallville goes another season after 7 (this fall) then I know for sure that Rosenbaum has stated he will not return. He says 7 is the last one he will do.

Chloe cried over Lois when she found her with a stab wound in her stomach. So Chloe cried and her tears revived Lois. But doing so, took Chloe's life. And Lana got in her vehicle and was about to leave Smallville (she was leaving Lex), but a bomb went off and supposedly killed her. Lionel was attacked by a phantom and throwned against a wall. A pipe fell on him, where water was rising around him. But no one knows if he died or not.

Yeah, like everyone said, Chloe, Lana and Lionel all look like they could be dead. But if comic continuity is followed then Lana can't be dead. If you check out www.kryptonsite.com, this is what they have to say: (copied directly)

The CW has officially announced their Fall 2007 schedule, and another season of Smallville is in the plans.

They have also released a write-up promoting the new season; if you read closely you may get a hint as to who is leaving the show. Also on the cast list for Season 7 is a new addition.

Fans should be happy that certain people ARE on the cast list, as well.

Here's that write-up:

Returning for its seventh season, this new interpretation of the enduring Superman mythology and its classic characters blends realism and adventure into an exciting action series. Fourteen years ago, a meteor shower burst from the heavens, raining destruction on the unsuspecting citizens of Smallville, Kansas. From the ashes of tragedy, emerged Clark Kent. Struggling to come to grips with his emerging superpowers, while battling the strange events that have plagued this idyllic Midwest hamlet since the meteor shower, Clark slowly learns to embrace his destiny. SMALLVILLE chronicles Clark's journey toward becoming the Man of Steel and his relationships with girl-next-door Lana Lang, future love Lois Lane and soon-to-be arch-nemesis Lex Luthor.

The series stars Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan, John Glover as Lionel Luther and Aaron Ashmore as Jimmy Olsen. Reinterpreting the Superman mythology from its roots, SMALLVILLE was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar ("Shanghai Noon," "Spiderman 2"), based on the DC Comics characters. Gough and Millar serve as executive producers, along with Ken Horton, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola, Kelly Souders & Brian Peterson and Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer. The series is produced by Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros. Television. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster.

Going by this, it would appear that no one is dead. The only name not appearing here is Annette O'Toole, Martha. We of course know she isn't dead, just fulfilling duty in D.C. So although it appears it the others could be dead, dare I say I think everyone might be ok. I hope so!!!

Lionel came to talk to Lana and witnessed her vehicle blowing up after she got in.

Lois' was killed by 1 of Lex's guards, but Cloe found her. While crying, 1 of her tears dripped on Lois' head and Lois woke up without a scratch to find Cloe lifeless nearby.

In the battle between Clark and the final phantom, who turned itself into Bizarro Superman by taking a piece of Clark's DNA, Lionel tried to kill it with Kryptonite but that only made it stronger and it smacked Lionel around. He appears to be dead, but it's not clear.

I think Lana's death was staged either by Lex or Lionel. Cloe's meteor freak ability somehow exchanged her life for Lois's. And I don't think Lionel is dead.
