All you can do is wait and pray. Just keep touching him and holding him and loving him. Have hope and faith. Doctors don't always know the future. I will pray for him too.

It is hard to say. My niece was premature (born at only 25 weeks, weighing only 1 lbs.12 ozs). She had a couple of small brain bleeds. She is now 8 years old and is completely healthy. She doesn't have any physical problems, gets A's in school and is a delightful child. I would just enjoy your son as he grows and not worry about it...unless you detect a problem later on. Good luck!

One thing is good and that is that your baby is young. That means the brain can develop around problems. I hope they got the bleeding under control. Be a strong parent. Demand answers. See other doctors. Don't let anyone tell you how he will be because only God knows that.

I don't know but I would call in some specialist for a second opinion. Keep touching and talking to him. I wish you and your child all the luck in the world.

its impossible to know how anyones life will turn out, what will be their burdens and what gifts will come from these burdens.all you can do is make the most of every precious moment.keep on touching him and talk to your baby, just be honest and real and don't let anyone give you a hard time for it.and do whatever it takes to take care of you...my gut says your kids gonna be great.things will get better,i promise.

What is the degree of the bleed?
Most preemies have brain hemorrhages that resolve with no issue.

It is too soon to tell. YOu wouldnt really know until 1-3 yrs old when you would see developmental delays. I am so sorry for you and your family. This must be devastating.

depends on the severity of the bleed.
As the mother of a special needs child, you will love them regardless and love them to pieces.
Just focus on today and getting through each day and PRAY.
