The A ring has an outer radius of 136,800 kilometers. It is twice that in diameter, or 273,600 km, which is about 164,000 miles. But Saturn has many rings, some of which are larger, but the larger ones are all but impossible to see from Earth because they are so thin and faint. Only the A and B rings are easy to see.
