I thought it may just be that one game, but then I tried other games, and it did the same, I scanned for viruses and everything and I have none, and have plenty of space for the game, anyone know what could be wrong? =/

First I downloaded space cowboy online, and tried to open installation, and my pc froze and wouldnt do anything, then I tried it from another site and same thing, then I tried from another with individual files to open with WinRAR, and same thing, then I thought it may just be the game, and tried Ragnarok Online, and it also froze my pc up. I can't turn it off or anything, I have to cut the power to it to get it to turn off.

I'd need more info, but off hand, I'd consider msinstaller being missing or corrupt and .netframeworks should be 1.3 or above. I'd clear cache. Tell us the symptoms in more detail. Online games are notorious as spyware. Do a sweep with adaware or counterspy IN SAFE MODE
