What should I do here?

OR Should I get one of these bad boys http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2824836&Sku=E145-8008
I am not an intense gamer...at all. I play sim city, rise of nations, halo, counterstrike, flight simulator.
I should be more than fine with the xfx8600 right. It seems really nice? RIGHT?

way more than you need. I'd save some money and spend it on more ramm and a good monitor (NOT a TV). I have heard that flight sim with dual monitors is awesome. Run 1 8600 or 2 7900's as SLI. Just buying two fast vid cards is not enough. Make sure you have good cooling and a good power supply. I'd have at least 500 for two 7900's and 600 for two 8600

i would go with the 1 8800gts. more memory than 2 8600's and a better card in case u do want to play a game that needs a high end card

ati for intel, nvidia for amd, they are compatible but each uses either intels hyper threading or amd's hyper transport

go with what you can afford, and yes that would be good enough and more for what you want...
