Yes...and No.

At an absolute minimum they need your name, address, birthdate, and signature. If they can find more info, they can be more successful, but with a driver's liscense, they can try, and sometimes be successful!

Heh at Walmart all some crazy Bunnicula Rayquanda or similarly named person has to do is write your drivers license on her crazy name emblazoned check and you will never be able to return any of their junk for a refund again... no matter how normal and uncrazy your drivers license says your name is.

Possibly. I recently had someone steal both my childrens ID's and claim them on their taxes without their social security numbers... just their names.
