The police arrest offenders then it goes into the court system.

There is a mandatory 5 year sentence for use of a gun in the commission of a crime(its been there since 1996) - it would appear that the court system is failing the American public. Mainly by reducing charges and plea bargaining.

The supposed "law" is not being enforced because the police only care about their donuts and coffee. Sure they clock in but, that doesn't mean that their going to earn a paycheck. When they take a gun from someone they will sell it to the highest bidder. I know this because I bought a pistol and a .22 at a private auction
