Well, I'm not sure if it annoys me but I do find it terribly rude. I have an aunt who will. For example, if you are at a restaurant and she sees you are eating an entree that she thinks looks good, she might take her fork and sample your food without asking. She also has made some guys sandwiches in the past and then took a bite out of them before giving it to them.

I don't mind when people eat the food off my plate as long as I have finished eating first. What ever is left is up for offer. I hate wasting food.

yes i do find it rude. you need to teach that woman some manners...

i also hate it when people cut in the lunch line. that is RUDE! and they pretend that they arent doing anything wrong. they'll act like they really need to talk to the person they're cutting in front of and then think "oh well, im here so i might as well get my food before anyone else" like no one knows what theyre doing or that theyre so special that no one will care! ****** rude *** people.

um, yeah that's not right. i will usually offer the person a bite if they think it looks good. but you don't just take it off the plate without asking. that is very rude. i would slap their hand if they did that!

It depends on who it is. My husband Fine he can eat the whole thing. My step Father I don't want touching me why the hell does he feel he should be allowed to touch my food. (he used to be AWFUL about it) My daughter it annoys me because I feed her til she is full then later if I get to eat she puts her fingers in my plate which really makes it so I don't want to eat it.

it's not about being stingy or greedy. personally i find it very rude for people not to ask first before they do that, as i won't ever do it to anyone, not even to my mom. it's like entering a room without knocking first. i really hate when someone does that. all one has to do is ask out of respect for the other person.

It takes nerve for sure. I had a friend that would always do that with my sandwhich in high school. Until one day when she was eating it I smeared my PB&J all over her face. She didn't talk to me for a couple of weeks after that. Maybe I should've handled it differently.

yes and I couldn't agree more about how rude it is. My friend and I were eating chicken nuggets and this teacher asked can I have one then just took one without waiting for an answer.

Not really - anyone that would take food off my plate would be very close to me - food is an extension of love

It only annoys me when the person takes the stuff I like. If it's disgusting food, though, they can have all they want.
