i think the best thing anyone can do to help her is to give her a wakeup call, before she ends up killing someone or even herself, which is what i think the judge was trying to do
ps: of all people who wouldnt need to drive with a suspended license or while drinking, she is one, she could hire a taxi, or have a private driver, she just doesnt care, let her hit and kill your mother, father, sister, brother, child,or boyfriend, and you might change your mind

What do I think? I 1995, a drunk guy driving a cement mixer truck crossed the median of Route 1 in Noth Carolina and hit the side of my Aunt's car. It killed my aunt and broke my grandmother's leg. Should that driver have gotten away with that? No. Why should Paris be any different? Just because she rich and has been on TV does not put her above the law. She could have killed or hurt somebody driving like that. And it wasn't her first offense. She wasn't even driving with a liscense. How can you say she's just a little party girl and let her get away with something like that? My Aunt Mossie was killed by a "Paris Hilton". Is that really no big deal? Maybe Paris Hilton should've thought of all the lives she was possibly jeopardizing when she climbed behind the wheel. She can party it up in jail, and later on when she's on dialysis for chirrosis of the liver from drinking too much. But it's no big deal. She's just a party girl after all.

Are you kidding? She's just a little party girl who was caught driving drunk-no big deal? How about if the pretty little party girl hit you with her car while she was driving drunk? What she did is against the law and she totally deserves to go to jail. Feeling sorry for Paris Hilton is the biggest waste of time I can think of. Our state is not jealous of her-it's trying protect the rest of us from her. Get a grip.

Sympathy? Are you kidding hon? Had she been a normal person. Her license would have been revoked for a year, instead of 6 months.
And..... If a normal person violated their probation by driving without a license, after being charged with a DUI.They would have thrown the book at us! The typical sentance in california for a charge such as this is.... six months to a year in jail, license suspension for another year, police would have impounded the car and slapped her with a heavy fine and make her go to drunk driving prevention classes.
Now the news said she will only get 23 days in jail due to overcrowding.Completley away from general population. She get's to keep her license after she get's out and she didnt have to have her car impounded! To me ... that's them giving her special treatment because she is a D-list wannabe celebrity that is in the public nonsense!

You have to feel bad for her being a girl, not really being a criminal and being in jail for 45 days. But, she had already had her licence taken away from her and she was still driving and it was not the first time she had been caught driving without a licence!
The judge obviously wanted her to listen to the authorities that took her licence away and told her not to drive. She has the means to pay for a driver yet she still drove.
I really don't think that Paris would be too concerned about being in jail for 45 days and she will probably make another 50 Mil out of it anyway.
Go Paris!!!

NO way!!! Paris Hilton totally deserved what she got......the judge is not stupid nor is he jealous of someone like Paris Hilton, why be jealous of her when there are soo many other people who are better than Paris and arnt stupid about drinking and driving.........im glad someone finally put Paris in her place, that out of control freak!!!!
Also, the fact that she is in Jail probably gave her time to think about "paris not being on top of the world, no one cares about her"shes popular for being WHAT again.....your statement just shows how superficial people are, imagine that it was someone you knew that she killed by drinking and driving, and maybe you would not post such an absurd statement.....(no offense)

Firstly, her sentence was cut and it's now 23 days.
Secondly, drunk driving is dangerous and she could have killed someone.
Thirdly, she was caught driving with a suspended licence which is why she's going to jail.
Also, while in court she was asked something along the lines if she knew that she was driving with a suspended licence, and her reply was that she didn't know that if a licence is suspended you aren't allowed to drive.
My point of view: Her licence should be taken away all together.

I find it hard to believe you were even half way serious when asking this. They are putting her in jail because she broke the law. So I suppose if she killed someone while driving drunk that would be who, the bartender's fault? They are not doing this because of who she is, she's trying to get out of it because of who she is. I hope she does have to go to jail and gets bunked with some big butch girl they call Bubba.

That is certainly generous of you. Can I take your comment to mean that you would have no problem with me getting drunk and getting behind the wheel of a car? Would it matter if it was in your neighbourhood? If you were the victim of such a driver? Your parent? Your child?
That is a wonderful lesson to teach to the youth of today. Get drunk and get stoned and put the rest of the society at risk. Everyone is just jealous.
Given the number of people who *have* served time for drunk driving, harming others who are male, who are not wealthy, I think her treatment is definitely preferential. The issue is not jealousy. The issue is about public safety.
If she wants to harm herself, that is her choice, although anyone who chooses to harm themselves might want to consider a psychiatric exam.

I think it's pathetic that you think she's "just a girl that was drunk driving no big deal shes just a little party girl she cant help it." She can help it. She can not drink and drive. You spelled jealous wrong.
