Orangutan and humans?

I heard that there was a show that had human semen put into an oragutan or monkey and they made like this freaky half-human half monkey thing. Does anyone know if this is true and how i can see?

I haven't heard of this. Viable offspring would be very rare as all the great apes have one more chromosome pair than humans

I have wondered about this with chimpanzees since they are more closely related to humans than are orangutans.

If it has ever been tried and if it was sucsessful it is a well-kept secret. Since these kind of secrets usually leak out, I suspect it either hasn't been tried or it didn't work (probably the latter).

You're probably thinking about a trained chimp that was shaved, then paraded around as a chimp-man.
