How do u rank the Harry Potter books 1-6?

#1 being the most favourite, #6 being the least. Here's my ranking:

1) Order of the Phoenix
2) Prisoner of Azkaban
3) Philosopher's Stone
4) Half-Blood Prince
5) Goblet of Fire
6) Chamber of Secrets

Answer 1

1. Prisoner of Azkaban- Sirius and Lupin are like my favorite characters besides Harry of course
2. Half-Blood Prince- I think because its the newest one and the one I've read most recently
3. Philosopher's Stone- Its the first the one that started it all
4. Goblet of Fire- Voldemort comes back this is really where the books take a major turn. They become a lot darker but I still love them
5. Order of the Phoenix- Sirius dies thats the only reason it is second to last
6. Chamber of Secrets- I liked this one but I was never into this one as much as the others or maybe its because this is the only one I don't actually own so I haven't read it as much

For those who seem confused, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the title of the UK version of the first book in the Harry Potter series.

In the US they have the title as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, same as the movies.

Ok, my ranking are as follows:-

1. Half Blood Prince
2. Goblet of Fire
3. Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Chamber of Secrets
5. Philosopher's Stone (that's the title of the one I have)
6. Order of the Phoenix

I like the Half Blood Prince the most because Harry had become a lot more matured in the way he thinks and looks at his destiny. I finally had the confidence that he has become emotionally prepared to face-off against Voldemort, although it would seem that he still had a lot more to learn in terms of wizardry skills.

1) Prisoner of Azkaban -- New characters you can like.
2) Half Blood Prince -- quicker paced, no side trips
3) Chamber of Secrets-- Better than the first and hooked me.
4) Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, and #1 -- not my favorites.

In England the first book was published as the Philosopher's Stone. American publishers thought Sorcerer's Stone would sell better. What do you think?
