Foobar is a hacker term. Supposedly there was once a hacker called or using Fred Foobar.

The military Fubar has already been used in a correct answer for that spelling of the word sound.

I first heard it in a movie, Tango and Cash, and it was spelled FUBAR. F'd up beyond repair. Classssssy.

I believe its spelled f.u.b.a.r. ****** up beyond all recognition. Its been around since world war 2.
