And one of my oldest Northern Californian redneck friends used to say...

So I occasionally borrow his somewhat funny metaphor, which sometimes makes people say...

Yesh I do. I got it from a song. It goes "Ignorance is bliss homey, you my dear make it fact." also "You missed the joke a year back man, the punchline just hit you in the mouth."
