My childrens' father just took a job across the country and moved. It will be at least a year until he sees the kids. I can't imagine not seeing them for that long or missing that much of their lives.

Make sure they talk on the phone, and maybe during school break, they can get together. Seems like the kids have been through alot already, since you did not say my husband, just their Dad, as judy said today, you have to love your kids more than you despise your ex

is he divorced? You know, sometime people have to do things they dont want to do, look at all the guys heading over to iraq to fight for the oil companies. I work in the merchant marines, and ive taken six month jobs before, which is hard being away that long. I guess he figures that the money and what he can buy with the money for his family will be worth it, he has to provide you know.
