Ever since I first had sex (over a year ago), I've been having sharp pains with intercourse and masturbation, especially in my cervix. I love both, but every time it gets intense I become so overwhemled with these sharp, stabbing pains in my cervix and uterus that I need him to stop. I also have terribly strange menstrual cycles that are usually long and painful. I've only had protected sex so I don't have an STD and the doctor just gave me a pregnancy test (I have my period as well) so I know I'm not pregnant. I'm 19 and really scared that I may have cancer or something. Help.

HELLO,
THIS MAY BE ENDOMETRIOSIS. OR PELVIC INFLAMMATION OF AN UNKNOWN SOURCE. ASK YOUR GYNECOLOGIST.

mmbrinsk please don't tell someone that they have cancer, you want to scare the poor girl? Hust see a doctor. I know that you went to a doctor already and the Dr was not helpful, but you really need to get it checked out. May be something simple but it will ease your mind. If you cant afford to go to the Dr. try to talk to some of the clinics in your area. I am sure they will help in your next step. Good Luck and God Bless

I really suggest you seeing a gynocologist in order to get an accurate diagnosis of what is going on with your body. Whatever it is the earlier you have it treated the healthier you will be. Tell the doctor everything you wrote on here and have him/her run tests on you. That is the best way because you don't want to put something like this off....

It is possible that you have an ovarian cyst. I had similar pains during sex and that is what made me go to my obgyn to find out what was wrong. Go to the dr and get checked. A pap smear doesn't always find the cysts. I had to have a vaginal ultrasound done to find mine. It was the size of a softball and I had to have it surgically removed.
