i am 37 weeks pregnant and i want to know how you can tell if your dialated. My husband said it felt like there was a bubble in my vagina.... anyone know what this means

can you feel for yourself? your cervix should not feel like a bubble, in fact if would worry if there was something that felt like a bubble in there. Your cervix in way in the back of the vagina and is circular with a hole in the center maybe have him feel again, if it is still bubble like I would call the Dr.

if you can feel you're cervix congrats I think if you can get a finger in that is a cm and so on up to ten........if you are dialated thats good but there is not a lot the doc can do accept confirm that you are good luck

Probably not dilated. Do you go weekly now, for checks? I'd just wait until your next appt.
Maybe he's just feeling the cervix? Maybe your baby is starting to drop lower into your pelvis?

call your doctor's office and explain to him what you feel...even if you are not having contractions you may still be going into labor...call him quick or you can go on this website www.webmd.com and use the symptom checker to see if you are in labor. CALL YOUR DR. dont hesitate to go to the ER pregnant woman dont have to wait at all...the worst they can tell you is that everything is fine and to go home

Just wait till your doctors appointment and they will tell you what he felt if you ask.
