Sacajawea (properly pronouced Sa-cog-a-wee-a but mostly sac-a-je-wee-a) was a sioux woman who was the sister of the chief and was kidnnapped by the shoshone indains. She later married the man who was hired to guide the Lewis and Clark expedpidtion. She was one of the main assets the the expedition, tracking animals, leading the way over mountains, making friends and trade with indains, and all with a baby on her back.

She is the Native American who led Lewis and Clark through their journey. Watch Night at the Museum. You learn a lot of acurate information about her from that movie, and it's entertaining.
