My lab had two puppies earlier this afternoon. Her last litter was 8. Are two normal? My dog is acting normal and healthy. I called the vet, but she wasn't very helpful. Please Help!

2 pups is unusual for a Lab but she may not be done yet either. Some times they will take long breks in between pups. Call your vet back if she doesn't produce any more pups with in 2 hours. Demand that she needs to be seen and then you can know for sure if she done whelping or not.

Usual size for a 2nd litter is 6 to 8 pups.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7wG

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

I would suggest if she hasn't had any more yet to try to get a hold of the vet or another vet.
they can take xrays or ultrasound to see if there are any more.
There is a shot that ehy can give to bring on teh labor to deliver or they may have to do a c-section.
You don't want to wait to long as if there is a problem it can affected teh unborn pus as well as teh mother.
It is not ussual that a lob would have less than 5 but it is possible but don't wait to see if she shows signs of a problem as it may end up being to late.
don't wait any longer than tomorrow morning but I would try my best to get her in befoer this.

2 pups is highly unusual. I would call the vet back and demand that she be seen... she may need a c-section if there are other pups that are having trouble coming out.
